SberSolutions experts held a webinar on December 18 on the topic of Social Insurance Fund Direct Payments and How Employers Should Get Ready for Them.
Eight new regions, including Moscow and St. Petersburg are to join the Social Insurance Fund Direct Payments program from January 1, 2021 onwards. As part of this program, a number of benefits will be paid to individuals directly by the Social Insurance Fund within a timeframe set out by law (Russian Government Decree N 294 dated April 21, 2011).
At the webinar, SberSolutions experts described how interactions with the fund will be affected by these new direct payments and how to draw up the required documents. They also outlined how employers should prepare themselves, their employees and accounting system to switch to direct payments, as well as how work should be organized in companies.
