COVID-19: migration law amendments

Due to the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, on March 16, 2020 the Russian Government issued the Decree No. 635-r, introducing several restrictive measures against foreigners. These novelties have a direct impact on the employment of foreigners in Russian companies. Companies face difficulties in renewing work permits and employment visas for foreign employees, as well as in registration of legal stay of employees abroad.
